My name is Jessica Saddler and I am a 4th grade teacher at St. Joseph School. I was born in Southern California but moved to Washington when I was seven years old, where I've been living on the Eastside ever since. Since I was in middle school I knew I was called to be a teacher. I'm filled with a sense of purpose when I can help a child achieve his or her very best. In 2011, I graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching English as a Second Language. The following year I spent as a substitute in the Issaquah School District and at schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle. I have also had many years volunteering in classrooms across different grade levels.
In 2012 I was blessed to be able to join the St. Joseph staff as the 4th and 5th grade instructional assistant, the 4th grade LARS aid, and as a member of the extended care team. In 2013, I became a full-time 4th grade teacher. I am so grateful to be a part of such a supportive school that has such a wonderful community. I look forward to working with the incoming 4th graders to develop their knowledge and skills and encourage their faith to blossom even further.
I currently live in Snoqualmie with my husband, two sons, daughter, and cat. For fun I love to go to Sounders games (we are season ticket holders), bake, read, draw, and spend time with family.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. 2019-2020 is going to be an exciting and memorable year and I look forward to getting to know each family more throughout the school year!
